Leo Caceres - Selected for 2024 WA State Team - State School Boys National Tournament
Congratulations to Leo Caceres for being selected into the Under 12’s State School Boys Basketball team.
Leo is representing WA in the School Sport Australia Games (SSAG 01) which will see over 2,000 student-athletes from 8 jurisdictions compete in an 11-day long multi-sport competition.
The 2024 SSAG 01 is being held on the Gold Coast and started on the 24th of July finishing on the 3rd of August.
The ten-player team has our own Krzysztof Michalski as its assistant coach and is made up of boys from Chisholm Catholic College, Mother Teresa Catholic College, John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School, Willetton Senior High School, St Mark’s Anglican Community School, The Kings College, Connolly Primary School and Kennedy Baptist College.
The first game was held on Sunday 28th July against Victoria followed by a win against ACT (67/51). On Monday they played South Australia followed by NSW on Tuesday and QLD on Wednesday.

Leo is a seasoned Bedford Basketball Club player with over 1061 points in his Bedford career and is currently in the Bedford Blaze U14 Boys 1 team.
